The Grant Reeves Veterans Honor Guard is comprised of FOUR Veteran Service organizations: the VFW, DAV, American Legion, and the VFW Auxiliary. VFW Post 7720 is the parent organization for accountability, supplying and equipping the Honor Guard. SIX separate chartered groups in Habersham and Rabun counties participate..

We perform approximately 100 full military honors every year, along with numerous other events in Habersham, Stephens, and Rabun Counties.
A sampling of events: Wreaths Across America, National Day of Prayer, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Vietnam Veterans Day, Veterans Day, 13-Fold ceremony, school programs, and many more!  We cannot honor requests outside of our area.
 

Funeral arrangements are made through your funeral home of choice.  The funeral directors will contact the Honor Guard Captain.

Service does not end when the uniform comes off. The Grant-Reeves Veterans Honor Guard exists to ensure every veteran is laid to rest with full military honors and a final, dignified salute. We continue to serve those who served us. Membership is open to those eligible for the VFW, DAV, or American Legion, including their Auxiliary units. Uniforms are provided.
